THE ARTIST
Bruno Casiano is a Puerto Rican Artist based in Cleveland, Ohio, who combines traditional and contemporary art. He is, on the one hand, rooted in forms and themes inspired by traditional Puerto Rican silk screens, with characteristic and solid colors, imagery, and shapes from his native Island; on the other hand, he explores innovative collage and stenciling. In the end, despite the artistic departures, the flavor of Casiano’s work remains strongly Puerto Rican in essence.
In Puerto Rico, he studied studio painting at the School of Fine Arts in Old San Juan in the early 1980s. Later on, he received further studies in illustration at The School of Design, Altos de Chavon in La Romana, Dominican Republic. In the mid-1990s, he completed a BA at the Cleveland Institute of Art in Ohio. For several years, he owned and curated major art shows at the Bruno Casiano Gallery on Cleveland's West Side. Currently, Bruno Casiano owns Logo Creative Studio and remains well known among most artists in the area.

Bruno Casiano es un artista Puertorriqueño actualmente residiendo en Cleveland, Ohio, quien combina lo tradicional y contemporáneo en su arte. En una mano, sus formas y temas son inspiraciones puertorriqueñas
con características de las técnicas de serigrafía y colores sólidos. En la otra mano, su arte explora el collage y el uso de patrones. Pero aún manteniendo en esencia las raíces culturales de Puerto Rico.
Casiano estudió pintura de taller en la Escuela de Artes Plásticas bajo el Instituto de Cultura de Puerto Rico. En el 1986, es otorgada una beca completa para estudiar ilustración en la Escuela de Diseño Altos de Chavon, República Dominicana.
En el 1996, completa un Bachillerato en illustracion del Intituto de Arte de Cleveland. Hoy, Casiano maneja un estudio de arte y diseno "Logo Creative Studio localizado en Cleveland Ohio.
